Incredibly delicious, 4-minute Christmas balls are always a must!
250 g butter
100 g sugar
2 egg yolks
1 packet vanilla sugar
300 g flour
100 g ground almonds
100 g coconut flakes
Powdered sugar/granulated sugar
Preparation
First, prepare a baking rack with baking foil and preheat oven to 180°C fan/convection oven.
Then, beat the butter, sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla sugar together until fluffy.
Next, mix the flour, ground almonds, and coconut flakes into the dough and knead.
Then, form small balls (about the size of marbles) and place them on the prepared rack, leaving some space between them. Bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Now, dust the hot balls with powdered sugar, let them cool, and wrap them.
Caution: The hot balls are still very soft and fragile, so let them cool down first before removing them from the grill!
Enjoy your meal!
